The name came from the phrase “To Salt Away” which means to store away valuables, typically money and the word “ALL” as our focus was to cater to all learning styles. The branding is based on small rigid grains of salt hence the very blocky logo and designs.
Education For All
After conducting interviews with individuals inside the target demographic and doing research, our group determined one of the best ways to get individuals to use our services versus our competitors was to ensure we provided educational tools that are more catered to the lifestyle and learning style of our users. Thus SALLT Graphics, Waveform and Interactive were made.

Learning styles
After our 11 interviews we found that while visual was the more preferred learning style, combined auditory and kinesthetic make up 55% of methods people like to use to when trying to learn new skills.
Through this process I conducted 7 of the interviews.






Education Insights
The preferred techniques mirrored that of learning styles and set our group in motion for how to approach each learning style.
The learning style I worked on was auditory.
User Stories
*User Stories are based on real people we interviewed but their names and faces have been switched. We promised our interviewees confidentiality to ensure they felt comfortable and would give us information without feeling hesitant.









SALLT Waveform
SALLT Waveform is part of SALLT’s free tools campaign to attract new users. The campaign includes a free resource for visual and kinesthetic learners. Those would all be hosted on both the free mobile app and/or website.



The Library page allows the user to see all the audio books or articles they can listen to.



The Media page allows you to read along or just listen to the book or article you chose.



The Voice page allows the user to select between standard voices, celebrity voices, different accents and different languages.
SALLT Audio Ad
SALLT Waveform would also launch advertising to inform people about SALLT and suggest they use our free resources. Later we would hopefully turn those attracted to the free resources into new users.
Audio only, this ad could appear on the radio or on apps like Spotify
